Homeless in Glasgow? What's out there?

Welcome to HIP!

At last a website to help you find what you need....when you need it!

We all need advice and information.
When you're homeless or rough sleeping you need it NOW!

The website wants to:

  • Arm you with your rights.
  • Offer you some advice.
  • Answer some of your questions.
  • Point you in the right direction.
  • Show you what help and support is out there.

It also wants to let you have your say!

  • On your experience of homelessness.
  • On this website (.....easy!).
  • With us and other organisations.
  • With each other using the Chatroom and Message Board.

When exploring this site:

  • Choose from the options on the left.
  • Use the 'Know your Rights' - this is what the law says! Read it. Use it.
  • Use the links - these services are here to support you.
  • If you can't find what you're looking for PLEASE TELL US. If you need it and it's not there, it should be!.

What else do we do?

HIP is currently touring projects in Glasgow that provides services to people affected by homelessness.

We come every week armed with laptop computers, printers, scanners and digital cameras. We offer Internet access and IT Training to the people using these services.

If HIP does not come to a service you use, and you would like it to - PLEASE TELL US. We will aim to arrange it.
